Account & Data Deletion

This page explains how to delete your Ezras Nashim account and the personal data associated with it. You can delete everything yourself from inside the app, or request deletion by email if you no longer have the app installed.
Delete from within the app
- Open the Ezras Nashim app.
- Go to the Profile screen.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
Your account and associated personal data are removed immediately.
Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app, email us from the address tied to your account and we'll delete your data on your behalf:
You don't have to delete your whole account — you can also ask us to remove specific data (for example, a meal train you created or names you submitted for tefilla) while keeping your account active. Just say which data in your email.
If you used the app without creating an account, mention that in your email and we'll help remove the data associated with your device. We process deletion requests within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile (name, Hebrew name, email address) and preferences.
- Your mitzvah completion records and challenge progress.
- Meal trains you created and any meal sign-ups, including the names, addresses, phone numbers, and emails you entered.
- Names submitted for tefilla (davening names).
What may be retained
- Donation records. Payment details are held by our payment processor, Stripe, and we may retain a record of donations as required for tax, accounting, and legal obligations.
- Anonymous aggregate counts. Community-wide mitzvah totals are aggregated and contain no information that identifies you; these are not removed by an individual deletion.
